CHRISTIANITY AND HEBREW BIBLE...WHAT YOU WERE NEVER TOLD

Christianity has based itself on the Hebrew Scriptures. That is where Christianity makes its fatal mistake; but only if you know Hebrew or have access to a Hebrew-English Bible. If Christianity did not base itself off the Hebrew Scriptures then it would have no validity whatsoever. If Christianity did not base itself off the Hebrew Scriptures then it would be little more than a isolated religion which did not validate itself on the claimed fulfillment of Judaism's Bible. But this Christianity does and since it does then it must bear the responsibility for critical scrutiny for its claims.

If Christianity did not base itself as the "fulfillment" of the Jewish Scriptures then we would have no legitimate means to confront it in this area. But, Christianity is built upon Judaism's foundation and, therefore, is made vulnerable to Judaism's interpretation of its own Holy Book.

This might come as a shock to you but JEWS, RABBIS, AND JEWISH SCHOLARS KNOW THE HEBREW BIBLE BEST. Judaism is a faith built on solid Hebrew Biblical knowledge. Jews have always lived attached to every word, every sentence, every nuance in the Scriptures. Study of God's word has been a holy activity for devout Jews throughout the ages, even to the detriment of earning a living. This is common knowledge concerning their dedication to God. It can be said that no one knows the Jewish holy revelation better than those to whom it was addressed, namely the Jewish people. History documents untold numbers of martyred pious Jewish people who clung to Judaism due to firm conviction based on Biblical evidence, not only because of honor to heritage and respect to people.

CHRISTIAN PROOF-TEXTS ARE NOT ACCURATE TO THE HEBREW RENDERINGS OF THE TEXTS

One has to know and be familiar with the Jewish Scriptures (the Jewish Tanakh) as well as the untold number of forged Greek, Latin, and English translations (mistranslations and misquotations) of the Jewish Scriptures to understand my next statement.

The Hebrew Bible has nothing to say about "explicitly" about some Jesus, not one thing.

Christianity's use of our Bible is both their strength and their flaw. It is their strength because the Hebrew Bible is the word of God. It is their flaw because the Christian Bible, given to us by Rome, purposely misinterprets, mistranslates, invents, and misappropriates the Hebrew Scriptures to support their "theological agendas." The New Testament is the heritage of the Gentile Church; not the Jewish nation or their Scribes. But, when Christianity claims fulfillment of, and yet obliterates, the Hebrew Bible's message, Judaism as well as enlightened and knowledgeable Gentiles have a right, even a duty, to demonstrate the error perpetrated upon unsuspecting good people who trust these forged texts in their Christian Bible as their "way to God".

Upon study of the forgery of the Christian's Bible sadly I must say that Christianity's faith cannot be accepted by anyone who is even slightly knowledgeable of the Hebrew Scriptures and who uses his reasoning ability. As God created our minds, He expects us to use our reasoning together with our faith. Faith is not a substitute for reason, but a development from it and alongside it. Hand in hand with the determined destruction of Judaism as taught in these forged texts, which is rooted and propagated in the New Testament, is found a hatred of Jews. This has traveled from the Scriptures, to the pulpit, into the hearts of Christians; often without their knowledge. The budding Church parted itself from the Synagogue by severely abusing it and Christian history testifies to this tragic horror over the centuries. Jews were blamed for the killing of the Son of God, even though the New Testament states clearly that the Romans killed Jesus in Roman crucifixion. Ironically Jews were blamed for the death of the Son of God even though the Christian belief is that Jesus' death was predetermined and expected and foreordained for the "salvation of the world". Go figure!

The result of this blame has been two thousand years of sorrow for Jews and shame for Christians.

Paul or "Pauline writers and later forgers of his writings" shaped the Church in a manner which stripped away all links to Judaism and cursed it at the same time. Simply said the New Testament says Judaism is bad and abandoned by God, while Christianity is good and beloved. It says the law of Moses is not valid and the Covenant is dead for the Jews. Conveniently the Church's laws and dogmas and the "New" Covenant take their place. In sum, God loves Christians and has no love for Jews; the Jews are "damned" and the Christians "saved". This is what Christianity has taught and Christians, including the clergy, have used this philosophy to batter and bloody the Jew during two thousand years of persecution. The Jewish people have suffered, through the Church's hatred of Jews and Judaism, all manner of humiliation, ostracism, hardship, degradation, misery, torture, and murder, culminating in Auschwitz and the Holocaust in Christian Europe.

Christianity's evil effect on Jews should be admitted and condemned by all good Christian people. Christianity bears a responsibility to examine and correct their teaching concerning Judaism, which has been the root cause of great harm to the Jewish human being. As their words have caused persecution, so their words must end persecution and their actions memorialize "the Christ's" teaching of love. For too long the words of the New Testament's Christ have been Christianity's own accuser from Matthew 7:18,20 (Luke 6:43-44),

"A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit . . . Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them."

If the reader has any knowledge of Christian history and the horrors done by the Christian Church to mankind then the above passage is very telling. Furthermore, ironically, the following seems befitting the people of Israel, rather than Christians, namely Matthew 5:11,

"Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake."

How very, very ironic.

While Rome and pro-Roman "Pauline" writers advanced separation from Judaism, the New Testament Jesus announced Judaism's greatness. The same New Testament, when closely read both debases and extols Judaism. This should make you think about what is going on and who wrote this stuff anyway. One thing is for certain and it is simply said that this cannot be blamed on God. We have gathered in this Website, as well as others by Bet Emet Ministries, those portions of the New Testament which show the debasing of Judaism and the altering of the faith and religion of a Jew named Jesus which is accomplished by purposeful fraud and deceit by misapplying, misinterpreting, misquoting of the Hebrew Scriptures in the Christian Bible; not to mention outright Scriptural "invention". Jesus' depiction in the New Testament is one of a practicing and believing Jew who taught faithfulness to his religion's Torah. He affirmed it was the way to God and eternal life. He and his family all observed the Jewish customs, holidays, and Saturday Sabbath in synagogue. Jesus said personal salvation is obtained in Judaism (Salvation is of the Jews and not Rome)!

Christianity has in their New Testament announced a new way to salvation, through a mental belief in Jesus' vicarious atonement for sins and his resurrection from death. If one ever does their own personal study into Sun worship the you see that the New Testament Jesus and the "Jesus Story" is but a "retelling" of the same ancient stories of prior Sungods who "did the same things" and "said the same things" as does Rome's New Testament Jesus. Further study into this problematic area of study will show you that these same "Jesus Stories" find their ultimate origin in Astronomy since the time of Egypt. This is problematic to the "thinking believer". But more to our point, Rome's new way to salvation does not invalidate Jesus' own words in Christianity's own Book (in places). If one looks hard you can find the "Mind of Christ" hidden among the forgeries of the Hebrew Scriptures in the New Testament. Christians as well as Jews need not investigate Christianity's claim, for the New Testament itself proclaims Judaism's eternal truth. To see it one only has to know what the Judaism of Jesus taught and yet still teaches today about God and His way to salvation for all mankind! I guess it is time to study Judaism for yourself and ask yourself why Christianity, the supposed fulfillment of Judaism, changed its mother's faith and persecuted it so viciously!

In no place in the New Testament did this Jesus claim to be God, or God incarnate, or part of a Trinity, or in any way a special substance of God. This idea of Christianity and the theology of the Council of Nicea has no basis in Jesus' pronouncements. We have in this Website gathered all pertinent verses in the New Testament to demonstrate that Jesus' God is the God of the Jewish people as the Jewish people have know Him, no other. As well we proved the evidence of Christian tampering and forgery of such Jewish Scriptures in order to create a replacement religion as well as transform the Jewish Messiah. As startling as this may be to Jews and Christians, when searched with an open mind, the New Testament of Christianity shows that the character of Jesus lived and died a Jew who believed in Judaism, the God of Judaism, and the everlasting nature of Judaism. Jesus was not a Christian and would never hold to the vast majority of Christianity's theological doctrines; simply because they conflict and contradict most of what Jesus as a Jew believed as a Jew about God and his Jewish faith!

Answer for yourself: If you understood the above statement then as a Christian following the Christian Bible we should ask ourselves if we really are followers of this Jesus in the first place?

Even though Jesus the Jew in the New Testament believed in the Jewish religion, it is obvious that Christianity does not. Christianity is not the religion of Jesus, but the religion about Jesus.

Answer for yourself: Do you follow "the religion and faith of Jesus" or a religion created "about this Jesus"?

In this Website we reveal the host of Scriptural contradictions and conflicts that exist in the New Testament when these same passages and quotes are compared with the Hebrew Scriptures. The evidence is there for all to see.

What we present in this Website is evidence that, contrary to Christianity's claim, there is no confirmation of Christology in the Hebrew Scriptures, none whatsoever. Christianity uses proof-texts to advance their position that Christianity is the fulfillment of Hebrew Scripture. The so-called proof-texts are used to confirm Christianity's beliefs about Jesus. In this Website you will see for yourself as we demonstrate that these verses from our Hebrew Bible are not proof-texts at all for the message of Christianity. These proof-texts are all erroneously utilized being purposefully misquoted, mistranslated, and often invented out of thin air yet written to mislead the reader to think that they are the "fulfillment" of the Jewish Bible which are are not! We have organized them and explained them, commenting on their fallacies as presented by Christianity. You will come to see for yourself as have untold numbers before who do these studies that not one alleged proof-text has any merit in proving Christianity or their claims about this Jesus. They are faulted in many ways. They are taken out of context, twisted in meaning, forced in connection, mistranslated, misquoted, or a combination of these formidable defects. Millions read this New Testament never knowing this simply because they have never compared their New Testament passages with the earlier forged Greek texts which "butchered" the Hebrew when translated from the Hebrew texts in the 3rd Century B.C.E. In addition, many of the events related in the New Testament were clearly written to fit or were created to fit the Hebrew Bible's verses. We need not ascertain whether the event really occurred or not. The New Testament openly states that it was "done that it may be fulfilled." Such a fulfillment is obviously valueless as a proof; especially when one does study in comparative texts from the Hebrew Bible and trace their "purposeful mistranslations" into the Greek and later again this "purposeful mistranslations" into the English of our Christian Old and New Testaments. The forgeries are there for all to see. Biblical prophesy says nothing of Christology, and Christology has no legitimate basis in the Hebrew Bible. The Jewish Messiah was always "just a man" and never a God. Christianity's Messiah is NOT the Jewish Messiah!

What we do find in the Hebrew Bible are verses which show that personal salvation and life eternal is obtained through Judaism as these same Divine Concepts in Judaism can be shown to have existed since the beginning of time with Egypt which gave the world the first "monotheistic religion". Many Christians are unwilling to see this, for if they did their whole mission of soul salvation for the Jew would crumble. The self-perpetuating theology of Christianity and its fund raising for the salvation of the world would be thwarted. We are talking about a lot of money here to fight a spiritual war that simply does not exist; at least not in the way Rome has taught it. But, the Holy Bible is replete with passages which prove personal salvation is secured through Judaism with a faith in God and not a fictitious "godman". Moreover, "the Christ" also said this in the New Testament itself. God is shown in the Holy Bible to have a special relationship, a Covenant, with the people of Judaism, which is perfect, unbreakable, and eternal. Besides that the New Testament attests that within Judaism is a place for the non-Jew without conversion (Acts 10 with Cornelius, Acts 15 and the Laws of Noah, etc.).

The Hebrew Messiah is not the Christ of Christianity. The Bible describes the Messiah and the Messianic Era. The Hebrew Messiah and the Christ of Christianity have absolutely nothing in common. Jesus did not fulfill the Messianic expectations for the Messiah at all and this becomes all the more plain to the reader and student once he sees the forgeries of the texts in his Christian Bible which are supposed "fulfillments". If you don't do the studies you will never see this for yourself. Conveniently when one sees this the the rabbit is pulled out of the hat by Rome in teaching that their failed Messiah, Christianity's Christ, is supposed to have a second coming to accomplish the expectations. However, there is nothing in the Hebrew Scriptures about a second coming that is every connected to the Jewish Messiah. This is back seat driving at its best and of course such a concept is later incorporated into Rome's Bible to make it appear that this was always expected in Judaism when it was not! The New Testament is made to say by Rome that Jesus' followers waited for his immediate return during their lifetime in order to accomplish his supposed Messianic role. This, of course, did not happen, and Christianity has had to explain this non-occurrence in their own terms. But, their explanation still leaves the Hebrew Messiah awaited.

Judaism is strictly monotheistic, with God being "one" and not divisible or being of multi-essence. Although Judaism meditates on God's being, He is left unknowable. Except for the assertion of His "oneness" and belief that God has no bodily form, being uniquely spiritual, Judaism leaves the understanding of God's basic nature to God alone. Yes, God is humanized so that He is brought nearer to man's understanding, but He is never corporeal. On the other hand, Christianity worships a Triune God, in God the Father (as in Judaism), God the Son (God incarnate as Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Ghost (Spirit of God). Truly, we share Him, but He is who He is to each and again let it be said for many their ideas in these areas can be shown to be based upon "forged texts".

As if all of the above is not enough let it also be stated that Judaism's and Christianity's atonement methods differ dramatically and are in opposition to each other.

Answer for yourself: Has Christianity changed true Biblical atonement and we not know it? Let me just say that this is one of the most important studies that you can ever do so get ready to be shaken to your very core!

Judaism is optimistic about man's efforts being capable of earning God's approval. Man is considered able to fulfill God's desires for man's conduct. Just as God made man with faults, with a capacity for sin, He also made man with a pure nature. God planned that man must choose life through good conduct or death through bad conduct. God planned it this way. Righteousness is within mankind's reach. To follow God's Torah and make life's moments holy is sufficient for atonement. Effort is what is required, not perfection of achievement. Each human being is responsible for his own personal salvation in Judaism. On the other hand, Christianity teaches vicarious atonement, belief that man is unable to attain God's approval through good deeds and needs help beyond himself. This Christian view of salvation and atonement finds it origin with Osiris in Egypt by the way. Mankind is considered hopelessly sinful through "original sin" according to Christianity but ironically there is no concept of "original sin" in Biblical Judaism. For Christianity salvation is obtained by belief that Jesus Christ made vicarious atonement for man's sinfulness through his sacrificial death but such a belief shows that one has not the slightest understanding of how the Jewish Sacrificial System operated and how atonement was procured through it. This study is in itself a life changing experience once you come to see the role of "blood" in the Sacrificial System and how it was the "Soul in the blood" and "not the blood" that acquired atonement from one's sin! If you have never seen this then ask for the articles on atonement and I will send them to you explaining just how this worked. For Christianity this Jesus' resurrection offers hope of salvation to all believing Christians. Efforts to goodness are auxiliary to belief and not essential for salvation but again Judaism teaches just the opposite!

Sin, the transgression against God, is a deeply divergent idea in our religions. Judaism says man's soul is pure and transgression is the result of weakness and inclination to wrong-doing, rather than basic depravity and incapacity for righteousness. Judaism teaches that man's soul grows and matures the longer it submits itself to the Laws and Torah of God and in time comes to master Sin. Our free will choice to follow God's laws maintains our harmony with God and acquire "acceptance with God" as we see in Peter's confession in Acts 10:

Acts 10:34-35 34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: 35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him (God). (KJV)

Following our good impulses allows man to rule over sin. On the other hand, Christianity teaches that man has the profound guilt of original sin from which he cannot escape by himself. He is blemished with a corrupt nature which good behavior cannot overcome. He needs an intercessor, Jesus Christ, to take away his sinfulness.

Seeking happiness, as necessary to appreciate the majesty of God's creation, is encouraged in Judaism. The bodily desires are God-given, to be used in purity. The human vessel, created by God, is to be piously employed and appreciated. On the other hand, Christianity asks for a passing through this life in denial of the flesh in order to obtain piety. The body's desires are evils to be suppressed and overcome.

LAWS OF MOSES OR LAWS OF NEW COVENANT

The Holy Torah's laws are the path to righteousness for Jews, as well as the non-Jew, for they guide man in doing God's will. God and man meet in the performance of God's Laws and Commandments. The Torah brings holiness to every part of our life and is spiritually fulfilling because of the sacredness of duty to God. The immutable Covenant is connected to the duties of Torah observance, which are a certain bond to God for the Jew and Gentile. On the other hand, Christianity denies the value of the Laws and Commandments of God and instead substitutes its own laws and church dogmas which must be fulfilled and "believed". It presumes that Judaism's Torah is of no value and that Christianity possesses a New Covenant, which replaces the original; all the while failing to inform its readers that the word "New" means "renewed, reaffirmed" and never meaning "replaced". You see this "Old Covenant" has been renewed for both the Jew and the Non-Jew and not "replaced" as Rome would have us believe in their forged texts.

We have shown why Jews cannot be for Jesus, the Christ of Christianity; nor "informed" Christians.

Answer for yourself: How about being for a Jew like this Jesus who taught Judaism as the way for Jews and non-Jews to God? I like that better in light of what I shared above.

Jews cannot be for Jesus as a prophet, because Hebrew prophets justified their pronouncements on God's Holy Torah. The Roman Jesus, in contrast, used his personal authority for justification of his teachings. Also, Jews cannot be for Jesus as an inspired rabbi, because rabbis expound and preserve the laws, while the New Testament Jesus did not and champions a "New Covenant" which calls these Laws of God "death" and which "ended". Perhaps Jews might be for Jesus' teachings of goodness and morality and so should we but we must read with discriminating eyes to spot the "truth" from the "lies" but this is hard and almost impossible without knowledge concerning what we are reading, the reliability of our inherited Spiritual texts, and that takes years of study; trust me on this for I know about what I speak. In short, the New Testament and Roman Jesus has no place in Jewish belief in any context! It is time we study to show ourselves approved to see these issues of which I addressed above for only then can you hope to removed the confusion that surrounds the depiction of this New Testament Jesus and come to the truth about these very important matters.
